"...After many years of failing to permanently cut dependency on the house that was killing me, IPR network connected me with a waypoint where I was able to stay for long enough to make it to other waypoints that enabled me to complete my steps of permanently claiming independence from my personal hellhole and begin healing my body, mind, and spirit.

I am still reprogramming my brain with healthier relational and self-treatment patterns to override the violent ones that I learned and that were compounded with brain injury caused by complex traumas, toxic mold exposure, and blunt physical traumas. Disability awareness and mutual aid is something that is core to the network. It is not just lip service like many other groups do. There is no network like IPR. But the core structures are currently being maintaining by people who are in this moment on serious need, active crisis, and experiencing harm. Yet somehow they are helping to keep others in worse situations alive until more help can be offered.

I don't know if locational waypoints are available to everyone but the relational support is. Having this form of support is a necessary lifeline while navigating the extremely dangerous and unpredictable journey of being in or escaping severe situations. My connections that I've made within the IPR network are most precious to me and I feel a deep love for everyone I've made contact with, regardless of my level of contact with them..."
